8 books to read

I have great interest in reading books. I am not very much clear about my genre, but mostly I have read non-fictions. Today I started Aravind Adiga "THE WHITE TIGER" and done with the first night. I have really learnt a lot form my grandfather as he is having a very small library of his own. He is a great poet. Sometime I think it's genetic theory but my dad is not having a similar taste so it's sought of an interest I have wherein my grandfather has some participation.

But talking generally about reading novels or something different on regular basis is a source of great learning. I have decided to read minimum of 8 books in 2014 by December end and I have started my second book however first one is still 3/4th left :P.

I have ordered SHIVA TRILOGY by Amish and most probably I will get my order by 24th February. White Tiger is in progress and SIKH HISTORY part 1 by Khushwant Singh is going slowly, I think I will be able to achieve my target for 2014.

Where people are using Kindle or IPads to read in this modern world with average of 50-60 books every year. I have to atleast achieve this one of minimum "8". So this is nothing but a mission "8" for 2014.

Good parenting & development of cognitive skills in teenagers

These days the real communication between parents and teens has been lost due to technological advancements which are increasing the gap between generations exponentially. The impact of such things can be seen in children at their early development stages. Slow personality development, negative attitude, stressed atmosphere, poor cognitive skills, and hence bad overall confidence to face the world. Parenting is one of the biggest contributors in engaging all the personality and growth related elements of teens these days. Moreover, only parents could comprehend the requirements of teens and give required time for them to discuss their daily challenges, accomplishment, and learning so that it can help teens improve their conversational and relational abilities. Improvement of cognitive skills depends hugely on an interaction of parents with children regularly. Games, pattern building exercises, to infuse curiosity and creativity through experience, and interest building learni...
